Your Journey
Your experience begins at your accommodation in Amsterdam. Your driver arrives at the agreed time and takes you north out of Amsterdam, through open polder landscape, all the way to the harbour of Volendam.
On arrival, your guide gives a short introduction to the village: its history as a fishing port, the traditional clothing it became famous for, and what to look out for during your visit.
After that, the village is yours. Walk along the harbour, taste fresh fish from one of the stalls, browse the small shops and cafés, or just sit on the waterfront and watch the boats come in.
At the agreed time, your driver takes you back to Amsterdam.
